Fairhaven are dependent upon the generosity of community-minded people and extremely grateful for the time and effort provided by all volunteers.
Fairhaven is a not for profit organisation that has been working with families on the Central Coast since 1962. We provide supports, services and opportunities to help enrich the lives of people living with a disability.
We are dependent upon the generosity of community-minded people and extremely grateful for the time and effort provided by all volunteers. We could not continue to do what we do without you!
We have a variety of volunteer positions, depending on availability, to suit a range of skills and interests:
- Op shop sales assistants
- Second hand furniture sales
- Book shop assistants and sorters
- Sorting donations
- Garden maintenance
- Building maintenance
- Admin and marketing support.
Contribute as much or as little time as you can afford; we are grateful for any assistance, even a few hours per month. We have over 50 volunteers at Fairhaven and are always keen to meet more!

Having reached retirement but still wanting something meaningful to do with my time, I joined Fairhaven as a volunteer. I am now part of a great team that has fun and lots of laughs while still feeling I am doing something really worthwhile to help others in the community.
