Quality Circle Newsletter

Welcome to this first edition of Quality Circle for 2020

A new year always heralds changes, one of which is my return to the role of Interim CEO, a position I held for six months back in 2016. Many of you know me, I have been on the Board of Fairhaven since 2015 and have both personal and professional experience in the disability sector.

Anne Daly is our new Board Chair and Jenni Allan the Deputy Chair – both have extensive experience in disability and Anne, in particular, has been involved with Fairhaven for many years as the sister of one of our residents.

2020 sees the launch of our School Leavers Employment Support program (SLES) and we are delighted to welcome aboard our SLES Coordinator Peter Tos.

We celebrate the life of our long term resident John Taylor who sadly passed away on 10th December. John started with Fairhaven when he attended the Playgroup/Preschool program. He then went to school here, worked in supported employment and, of course, lived at our residential complex in Kincumber.

Enjoy the photos in this edition of the Staff Christmas Party, held on the 19th of December and all news and updates.

Tony Anderson – Interim CEO
